Father Bala explains different types of fear and how we should address them based upon the Bible. One type of fear is the natural fear of things that may cause us danger or pain and often this type of fear is healthy because it keeps us out of trouble. But in this fallen world we also have many other fears which Jesus asks us to set aside in favor of trusting the heavenly father. For example there is fear out being vulnerable and responsible with your husband or your wife, there is also fear of being judged or rejected by others including mainstream society or friends. The Bible is absolutely clear that our prophetic witness to Jesus and his gospel must be free from this crippling fear of others.. Father Bala also shares his excellent testimony about the “miracle” the Lord worked in him by transforming him from having a terrible fear of public speaking to being able to preach for three hours in front of a crowded audience.
